Choose boots by measured paw width, fastening and walking surface.

Before you buy

Paw width

Measure each weight-bearing paw using the maker's instructions. Front and rear paws may differ.

Surface

Compare sole texture, coverage and materials for your route.

Fit trial

Introduce gradually indoors, recheck fastening and inspect paws after a short walk.

Boots can rub or slip when poorly fitted. Breed or weight estimates cannot replace paw measurements.

Breed fit guides

Use a breed guide for context, then measure your individual dog. Breed guides share the category checklist; a breed name does not establish a separate product test.
